# Vastlink > Vastlink is an early-stage, open and verifiable digital asset operating system (DAOS) for humans and AI, currently being shaped with a small group of design partners. It is designed to power keyless, self-custodial MPC / account-abstraction (AA) wallets with multi-factor authentication, policy controls (spend limits, multisig approvals) and treasury automation across BTC, Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Polygon and more. It is intended to run self-hosted or as a cloud service. Key facts: - **Category:** digital asset operating system (DAOS). A DAOS manages the entire lifecycle of digital assets, whereas wallet-as-a-service (WaaS) and wallet-as-a-protocol (WaaP) only cover one component, the wallet. The relationship is similar to that of an operating system and a database. - **Keyless, powered by MPC:** no private key or seed phrase for users to manage, and no single point of failure. Users sign in with familiar methods such as email. - **Security:** enterprise-grade security with MFA, spend limits and multisig approvals. - **Deployment (intended):** designed for self-hosting on your own infrastructure or cloud use, with no vendor lock-in. A production self-hosted release is not available yet. - **Open (intended):** open source is part of the intended design, with a long-term goal of a decentralized network. Key flows are designed to be self-hosted, extended and audited. - **Pricing:** there is no production pricing yet. Vastlink is working with a small number of design partners before finalizing the product or commercial model. See https://vastlink.xyz/design-partners/. - **Developers:** a developer-first SDK with simple APIs, documentation and live examples, plus a modular path to more chains. - **Who it is for:** individuals, teams, treasuries, DAOs, funds, PayFi operators and developers who need secure, auditable wallet infrastructure. - **Use cases:** treasury management (multi-chain holdings, multisig approvals, payouts, AI-powered earning options); payments (on-ramp/off-ramp, KYC/KYB/KYT, compliant cross-border B2B payments); real-world assets (RWA project setup, user onboarding, token issuance and management). - **Products:** Vastbase, a multisig wallet built on Vastlink and Lit Protocol for crypto treasuries, RWAs, DAOs and VC funds, with email onboarding and email-driven approval workflows. - **Locations:** Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney. ## Core pages - [Vastlink home](https://vastlink.xyz/): product overview, features, use cases and FAQ - [Whitepaper](https://vastlink.gitbook.io/vastlink-whitepaper): architecture, design and tokenomics of Vastlink - [Vastbase](https://vastbase.vastlink.xyz/): next-generation multisig wallet built on Vastlink - [Vastbase product explainer](https://vastbase.vastlink.xyz/product-explainer.html): how Vastbase works, step by step - [Crypto inheritance](https://vastlink.xyz/crypto-inheritance/): a non-custodial crypto and bitcoin inheritance plan. Includes an eight-part crypto custody policy framework (custodian reviews, adviser self-custody conditions, signing authority, transfer verification, reporting, continuity, independent assurance, annual review), framed around the SEC's 1 October 2026 custody proposal (S7-2026-35; a proposal, not a final rule). No client assets transferred, no private keys requested.
